R515B
Ecochill R-515B is a blended hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant developed for low-pressure chiller and compatible cooling applications. It is designed as a lower-global-warming-potential alternative to R-123 in suitable equipment. R-515B offers stable performance for compatible chillers and commercial or industrial cooling systems designed for this refrigerant. It has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a very low global warming potential (GWP), helping reduce the environmental impact associated with refrigerant use. R-515B is classified as an A1 refrigerant, meaning it has lower toxicity and no flame propagation under the standard classification test. Ecochill R-515B should only be used in equipment designed for or approved to operate with this refrigerant, following manufacturer recommendations and applicable regulations.
