R452A
Ecochill R-452A is a blended hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant developed primarily for transport refrigeration applications. It is designed as a lower-global-warming-potential alternative to R-404A in compatible systems, offering reliable cooling performance for refrigerated transport units and other approved refrigeration equipment. R-452A has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a lower global warming potential (GWP) than R-404A, helping reduce the environmental impact associated with refrigeration operations. Ecochill R-452A should only be used in equipment designed for or approved to operate with this refrigerant, in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable environmental regulations.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Use Ecochill R-452A only in equipment designed or approved for this refrigerant.
- For retrofit applications, follow the equipment manufacturer’s approved conversion procedure and confirm system compatibility.
- As a blended refrigerant, R-452A should generally be charged in the liquid phase to help maintain the correct blend composition.
- Follow manufacturer instructions for charging, servicing, leak testing, and system maintenance.
- Use approved refrigerant recovery equipment. Never intentionally release refrigerant into the atmosphere.
- Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
- Always follow the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and applicable environmental and safety regulations.
