R422D
Ecochill R-422D is a blended refrigerant developed for selected refrigeration and air conditioning applications, particularly the servicing of certain existing R-22 systems where the equipment manufacturer permits its use. It consists of a blend of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants and a lubricant additive. R-422D can be considered for eligible legacy-system servicing, subject to system compatibility, operating requirements, and manufacturer recommendations. Although it does not deplete the ozone layer, it has a high global warming potential and is subject to applicable environmental regulations. Ecochill R-422D is intended for specialist refrigeration maintenance and servicing applications where its use is permitted.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Confirm system compatibility and obtain manufacturer approval before using R-422D in an existing installation.
- Do not assume that R-422D is a direct drop-in replacement for R-22; lubricant compatibility, system performance, and component requirements must be assessed.
- Charge the refrigerant in the liquid phase according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions to help maintain the correct blend composition.
- Do not mix R-422D with other refrigerants.
- Have servicing, leak testing, charging, and recovery performed by qualified refrigeration technicians.
- Follow the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and all applicable refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
- Avoid releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere and comply with applicable environmental regulations.
