R427A
Ecochill R-427A is a blended hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant developed for selected refrigeration and air conditioning applications, particularly the servicing of compatible existing R-22 systems. It offers an option for certain legacy installations where the equipment manufacturer and applicable regulations permit its use. R-427A has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), but its global warming potential (GWP) is high compared with many newer refrigerant alternatives. Its suitability depends on system design, lubricant compatibility, operating conditions, and manufacturer recommendations. Ecochill R-427A is intended for specialist refrigeration servicing and maintenance, subject to applicable supply restrictions and regulatory requirements.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Confirm equipment compatibility and obtain manufacturer approval before using R-427A in an existing system.
- Do not assume that R-427A is a direct drop-in replacement for R-22; assess lubricant compatibility, system components, and operating performance.
- Charge the refrigerant in the liquid phase in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to help maintain the correct blend composition.
- Do not mix R-427A with other refrigerants.
- Ensure servicing, charging, leak testing, and refrigerant recovery are carried out by qualified technicians.
- Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- Avoid releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere and comply with applicable recovery, handling, and disposal regulations.
