R1270 Propylene
Ecochill R-1270 (Propylene) is a hydrocarbon refrigerant gas used in specialized refrigeration, industrial cooling, and selected heat transfer applications. It offers excellent thermodynamic properties and high energy efficiency in properly designed systems. With zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a very low global warming potential (GWP), R-1270 can be an environmentally preferable alternative to many conventional synthetic refrigerants in suitable applications. Its performance characteristics make it suitable for certain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems engineered for hydrocarbon refrigerants. However, R-1270 is highly flammable and requires compatible equipment, proper ventilation, trained handling, and strict safety precautions.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use Ecochill R-1270 only in equipment specifically designed or approved for propylene refrigerant.
- Do not use it as a direct replacement for another refrigerant unless the equipment manufacturer explicitly approves the conversion.
- R-1270 is highly flammable. Keep it away from flames, sparks, hot surfaces, and other ignition sources.
- Ensure adequate ventilation and use equipment, tools, and leak-detection devices suitable for flammable refrigerants.
- Installation, charging, servicing, and recovery must be performed by trained and qualified personnel.
- Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions, applicable safety regulations, and the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight.
- Avoid releasing the gas into the atmosphere; follow applicable recovery and disposal requirements
