R600a Isobutane
Ecochill R-600a (Isobutane) is a hydrocarbon refrigerant widely used in domestic refrigeration and selected light commercial cooling applications. It offers excellent thermodynamic properties, high energy-efficiency potential, and reliable cooling performance in compatible refrigeration systems. R-600a has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a very low global warming potential (GWP), making it an environmentally friendly alternative to many conventional synthetic refrigerants. It is commonly used in domestic refrigerators, freezers, beverage coolers, and other compact refrigeration equipment specifically designed for isobutane refrigerant. Due to its highly flammable nature, R-600a requires compatible equipment and appropriate safety precautions during installation, servicing, storage, and handling.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Ecochill R-600a is a hydrocarbon refrigerant intended for equipment specifically designed and approved for isobutane refrigerant.
- Do not use R-600a as a direct replacement for another refrigerant unless the equipment manufacturer explicitly approves the conversion.
- R-600a is highly flammable (A3 classification). Keep it away from flames, sparks, hot surfaces, and other ignition sources.
- Ensure adequate ventilation and use suitable leak-detection equipment and tools approved for flammable refrigerants.
- Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions for refrigerant charging, servicing, leak testing, and recovery.
- Recover refrigerant using approved equipment and never intentionally release it into the atmosphere.
- Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and ignition sources.
- Always follow the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and applicable safety regulations.
