FK-5-1-12

Ecochill FK-5-1-12 is a high-performance clean agent fire suppression fluid designed to protect critical infrastructure, sensitive electronic equipment, and valuable assets. Chemically known as dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one, it is a colourless, electrically non-conductive fluid that vaporizes during discharge and suppresses fires without leaving residue or requiring post-discharge cleanup. It is suitable for properly engineered fire suppression systems in areas where water-based systems may damage sensitive equipment or interrupt essential operations. FK-5-1-12 has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a very low global warming potential (GWP) compared with many conventional halocarbon fire suppression agents. It is used in approved clean agent systems designed in accordance with applicable fire protection standards, including NFPA 2001.
