HFC-236fa

Ecochill HFC-236fa (1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoropropane) is a clean agent fire suppression gas used in specialized fire protection systems designed to safeguard sensitive equipment and valuable assets. It is colourless, electrically non-conductive, and suitable for applications where conventional water-based fire suppression could damage electronic equipment or disrupt critical operations. HFC-236fa suppresses fires by absorbing heat and interrupting the combustion process, leaving no solid residue after discharge. It has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP); however, it has a high global warming potential (GWP), so its use may be subject to environmental regulations and restrictions. Ecochill HFC-236fa is intended for approved fire suppression applications where system compatibility, personnel safety, and applicable standards are properly addressed.
