R452B
Ecochill R-452B is a blended hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant developed primarily for air conditioning and heat pump applications. It is designed as a lower-global-warming-potential alternative to R-410A in suitable equipment. R-452B offers cooling performance and energy-efficiency potential for compatible residential and commercial HVAC systems. It has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a lower global warming potential (GWP) than R-410A. R-452B is classified as an A2L refrigerant, meaning it has lower toxicity and mild flammability, so appropriate safety precautions are essential. Ecochill R-452B should only be used in equipment specifically designed or approved for this refrigerant, following manufacturer instructions and applicable safety regulations.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Use Ecochill R-452B only in equipment specifically designed or approved for this refrigerant.
- Do not use R-452B as a direct drop-in replacement for R-410A unless the equipment manufacturer explicitly approves the conversion.
- R-452B is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant. Use suitable tools, ventilation, leak-detection equipment, and safety procedures for A2L refrigerants.
- As a blended refrigerant, it should generally be charged in the liquid phase in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Follow approved procedures for installation, charging, leak testing, servicing, and recovery.
- Never intentionally release refrigerant into the atmosphere. Recover it using equipment approved for the refrigerant and application.
- Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from excessive heat and ignition sources.
- Consult the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and all applicable safety and environmental regulations before handling.
