R410A

Ecochill R-410A is a blended hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant widely used in residential and commercial air conditioning systems. Composed of R-32 and R-125, it is designed to provide efficient heat transfer and reliable cooling performance in compatible air conditioning equipment and heat pumps. R-410A has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), making it an alternative to older ozone-depleting refrigerants such as R-22. It operates at higher pressures than R-22, so equipment must be specifically designed for R-410A. Although it offers dependable cooling performance, R-410A has a high global warming potential (GWP), and its use may be subject to environmental regulations. Ecochill R-410A should be handled, charged, and recovered according to manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Use Ecochill R-410A only in equipment specifically designed or approved for this refrigerant.
  • Do not use R-410A as a direct replacement for R-22 or other refrigerants unless the equipment manufacturer explicitly approves the conversion.
  • As a blended refrigerant, R-410A should generally be charged in the liquid phase to help maintain the correct blend composition.
  • Use suitable tools and equipment rated for R-410A’s operating pressures.
  • Recover refrigerant using approved equipment and never intentionally release it into the atmosphere.
  • Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight and excessive hea
